“Reduccion” is a minimal half-time drum&bass / jungle influenced track. A glimpse of the upcoming 140 / broken beat releases from Batch Kalat in 2021. Dark growling basslines meet dub stabs and echoed jungle vocals. Reducing each element to its core, Batch Kalat again creates a dark moody piece of music that cannot be labeled with a specific genre tag. For the artist, this sound incorporates today’s feeling of a world on pause-mode where you do not know if you should go grooving or just lie down and wait for things to be normal again.
